153 people arrested for vice & immigration offences

SINGAPORE : A series of police raids over the weekend saw the arrest of 153 people.
Many of them were suspected of vice and gang-related activities, as well as immigration offences.
Over 200 officers fanned out to Orchard Road, Balestier and Geylang during the three-day operation which started on Friday.
Massage parlours, hotels and entertainment outlets were among the places raided.
Some bars and hotels were also found to have breached their licensing agreements and will be taken to task.
