Mr Ng plan to pay IRA thrugh a cheque
Mr Ng must be one of those old folks who voted the PAP in. So he got his just desserts
how many taxpayers we have? if everyone pay less 1 cent per year that's a big sum.
if more overlooked, then from penalty fees can make even more.
its all about money!
Obstructing the development of political parties and competitive candidates is as fraudulent as stuffing ballot boxes.
Buying votes with state resources is as fraudulent as stealing them outright during the tally.
Dominating the media or stacking the electoral commission with friends is as fraudulent as violating the secrecy of the vote.
2. some world-crassest system.
3. well done,sheep!
So FIRST WORLD!
Wasted 20 cents postage to collect 1 cent!
PAP Vampire must be damn hungry!

In farking country everything is about money $$$$$ !!!
Fark lah ,1 cent just write off lah .
The farking civil servants must hv a checklist to carry out their duties, they don't
Hv balls to hv initiative or creative or be practical or be sympathetic
All these civil servants are just robots programmed to do routine n
Mr. Ng should not have paid up that 1 cent. Then IRAS will impose a 5% penalty, which equals to 0.05 cents. Then Mr. Ng should write a cheque for a total of 1.05 cents ($0.0105). Let's see how the bank settle a $0.0105 payment then.
Dotology: are dots divisive?
They're trying out the 'shock therapy' on the old man. Mr. Ng should consider giving them back come 2016.
Should just include the 1 cent to the next payment, sending a letter worth more than 1 cent.....
Fucking PAP has been wasting millions and millions of taxpayers money and they want to bring taxpayers to court for 1 cent???? Something is very wrong here.
We read about the millions of unaccounted money in defense spending, and civil servants procurement, why no one is charged in court?

Hmmm... a bit strange. Normally you are not required to pay for amounts below $10 or something like that. The other line states the "outstanding tax of $36".. puzzling. There is a phone number on the letter and old man just need to call them to clarify. This is obvious attempt to put IRAS in bad light.
It's computer generated. The three telcos and even PUB set the limit to S$10 for carrying forward to the next bill. That is, if your bill is S$55.55, you can just pay S$50 and have the balance of S$5.55 added on to your next. It looks like IRAS has some very silly programmers or some very silly officers who instructed the programmers to set it at S$0.

Do something meaningful. Join the grassroots and PTUII .. PTUII .. to your heart's content
Sinkieland's national coffers must be frighteningly empty.
You know what the old man should do? Refuse to pay the one cent and let IRAS add interest to the one cent. Fine? Refuse to pay the fine. Send him to jail, where he'll get free food and lodging... fully paid for by taxpayer's money.
Let IRAS know the true meaning of 'penny wise, pound foolish'.
There are many ways to skin a cat, many ways to get back at a government institution which has been fucking you over.
It's the same with phone bill. There'll be a next bill as long as one owns the line. If one terminates the line, the the whole outstanding balance becomes payable.
