This Indian Muslim stall sells very good traditional Indian goodies. The thing I really like is their thosai

Looking for something to eat at Redhill



Discovered a great fishball noodle stall


- fishballs hand made, its soft yet just enough body unlike most are bouncy type,
- the lard is also freshly every morning,
- chili sauce is fragrant and tasty but not spicy enough, also made daily at the stall
- noodle is very QQ so its really nice to the bite
- $3



Ordered extra fish balls ($3)


The above stall I highly recommend, opens at 6am yes you can have breakfast there, closes at 10-11pm and supper as well

Been eating carrot cake from this stall from don't know when guess since in school.


Asked the stall holder he tome me they been in Redhill market since it opened in 1972 but before that they at roadside since 1965. Same old taste, really enjoy.



What a night, discovering a great fishball noodle stall by the way they started business only a year ago and I thought taste wise its a great achievement.

By the way, pinky's chicken wing stall not open today

A friend living in Tampines recently told me there is a very good Chinese traditional "tui na" clinic in Tanglin Halt. He told me the Mr. Lu doctor is very skillful in treatment especially for sports injury or accident that hurt the bones. Even though is just a 2mins walk away from where I stay I didn't know its been there for years.

Monday, most stalls close in the market food centre


Across the market is the hawker centre, the Lormee is pretty good especially the pork-chop they add into the noodle, operated by two old ladies, taste is old style lormee unlike the newer ones with fancy toppings. Close on Fridays and Saturdays

Besides the night wontan noodle stall in the Tanglin Halt market there's another in the hawker centre opens in morning till afternoon. This is new stall started by an old couple but it's so popular now a days they've got to helpers to cope with the queue.



Their shui-jiao dumpling is very good and always out of stock, must try.

Had to catch a flight to Jakarta this evening but at 5.45pm had sudden urge for kambing soup which I believe was more than 5 years overdue.

The evening was pretty cool as it just rained and having this boiling hot soup was so satisfying


Cost me $249 this bowl of soup: missed my flight cos 10 mins late check-in, lady die die don't allow me to check-in so got rush to get another flight and found AirAsia which cost $245 and with the soup $4 . Is it worth it? Well I guess so.

Last minute urges cannot help it and I guess I mistime myself too. But the soup was really good.

Sop Buntut? Never a fan of this soup can't make myself consume anything made from tail of animal. Anyway the most famous sop buntut is the one from Borobudur Hotel
