yup.. it is also coincidental that so many ppl kens food poisoning after eating the indian rojak.. could be the sugar cane stall's fault rite..

Sorry to hear that Bro. Pity because the hardware of CGH appears quite good. I can vouch for their physio clinic, excellent pool facility.
Yeah, facilities are top notch, doctors quality are very very subjective. You may encounter one or two good ones but horrendous one I guess one too many. Speaking from experience.
Nursing staff however are tops in many aspects; locals and FTs.

The problem with a hospital like CGH, when they get new top notch, latest technology equipment, someone has to help them provide the ROI. So they keep you in there to send you through a whole series of unrelated tests to rack up your bill so that the hospital's annual report looks rosy. The best part is, they do not even want to bother telling the patient what the tests are about. Then after all the tests, there is no word of the results, neither do the docs ever want to talk to the patient about it, let alone discuss.
I was not the only one who had to fight myself out of the place. There was an angmo there with me and he had to do the same thing. When he got his discharge papers, I spoke to him. Apparently he was being treated for something else instead of his ailment.
In all systems, institutions, corporations, whatever, the ability to deliver top notch customer service boils down to the management and staff and not shiny new equipment for display and advertisement sake.
In CGH, the hardware may seem impressive, but the software leaves a lot to be desired. So for anyone, get admitted there on your own peril.

It could be the cleaning assistant committing suicide and poured a bottle of detergent into the gravy and now camouflaging it as food poisoning, since so many are involved and so claim insurance for accidental death. Just kidding.
