I'm a nobody, and I'm most humbled by your kind gesture. Nevertheless, I shall gracefully accept this "token of appreciation" when EC-GRC is no longer in PAP's hand :smile::smile:

You are not a nobody. You are Zhihau, a Singaporean patriot.

You are indeed doing great waking up Singaporeans to the truth and helping them to see what the pap really is.

I hope that pap will be trashed at the next GE. And all credit goes to patriots like you who helped to kick out traitors

any serious medical problem will wipe out one's life savings because medical cost is prohibitively high. Cancer, heart attack, stroke and other major ailments will wipe out everything. is this right ?

What to do? Only can hope for the best to have enough to pay.

In a decent society, no one should go bankrupt because of a sickness. It's only in a sick country that citizens worry abt going bankrupt just for getting sick. That sick country is Singapore.

Yes I recall last time my ex colleague in Australia was so relaxed when he got skin cancer. He said everybody gets it. Yeah all expenses paid by govt, really nothing to worry.

Know the truth and know pap's true performance:

1. Keppel Corp profit down 9% in the latest financial performance announcement
2. NOL lost US$ 152 million in the first 6 months of 2014. It will get worse for the 2nd half of 2014
3. SPH profit is down 5.5%
4. SGX profit is down 16%
5. SG casinos suffer fall of more than 50% in profits
6. PRC tourists to Singapore decline sharply
7. Esplanade reports 1st ever annual loss

Singapore's economy is not doing well despite paying top dollars for PAP Ministers. Singaporeans are not hearing the whole truth from the pap. Bad news are discreetly suppressed. How long can the truth be suppressed?

I urge Singaporeans to know beyond what the pap says and what the MSM report

Will SG go into a recession soon?

Know the truth, don't believe what you read in Singapore newspapers, especially the Straits Times. Double check what the newspapers quote and report.

I had dinner with a Principal of a primary school recently. She shared with me her experience with Straits Times reporter a few years ago. The reporter requested for an interview with her on a current issue at that time. Being a new Principal at that time, she was naïve. She accepted the reporter's request and granted her an interview.

But she was shocked that when her interview was reported in the Straits Times, she said she was widely "quoted" in the article but it was totally different from what she had told the report. She called up the reporter and asked for a correction to her report. But the reporter refused to make any amendment to her article. The Principal told me that now she refuses any request for interviews by reporters and also she now knows not to trust what she reads in the Straits Times.

The Principal ahs wised up.

Let us learn from the Principal's experience. Likewise we must learn not to trust what the Straits Times report. Do check for the truth

A country should never leave any citizen behind and in the lurch when he/she has a sickness. Only pap govt neglects the sick and even seeks to profiteer from him by charging him 7% GST for medical bills

The truth is:

1. Vivian was tasked to be the attack bulldog on Workers Party. He failed miserably despite using govt agencies like NEA and is now muted and sidelined.
2. A new man, Desmond Lee, was promoted to MOS and given the doggie task to attack WP. Desmond is trying hard, working on new strategies and tactics to discredit WP. He is going all out using govt ministries such as MND to discredit WP. Desmond fails to believe that the Court of Public Opinion is stronger than MND and SG Courts.
3. The best is for LTK to remain cool and not to be drawn into an argument with Desmond. A barking dog will eventually bark himself to death because no one pays attention to his bark just like what happened to doggie Vivian.

Here we worry to death abt medicals even b4 getting
sick. Thnks to PAP aft 50 yrs of governing our cuntry.

Yes the Australia govt got so much standard and care for their people. I recall they even have rules then that companies must benchmark the annual increment rate of workers to inflation rate. No such thing as zero increment like what happened in Spore last time, my company did that twice in the name of recession but actually the company was profitable.

Yes I didn't like the straits times too since young. I recall back then they were quite biased in reporting secondary school sporting events. Schools that they like they will highlight and celebrate the win. Schools that they don't favour any winning will be downplayed in their reporting.

The govt must balance the country's economy and the care of its citizens. Wages must be pegged to cost of living and sustainability. The pap artificially depresses workers' salaries so that companies can make profits regardless of its competence. Vote out the pap.

A company should close shop and die if it is incompetent and not competitive rather than to be artificially kept operating at all costs.

All Singaporeans must stop reading Straits Times and other SPH news. We can get better and more timely news from the internet, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg, AFP, Reuters, etc. Why read PAP mouthpiece?

Singaporeans have been brainwashed by the pap that health care in SG receives a govt subsidy. That's a lie. The pap does not subsidise health care.

On top of that the the pap makes 7% GST from the sick.

Singaporeans must know the truth that the pap doesn't subsidise healthcare but instead levies a 7% tax on healthcare

Yeah where got subsidy when the consultation fee alone to see specialist is already so high? Anyway the system of subsidy is subject to abuse, can say give 70% subsidy but inflate 100% of cost still end up more expensive.

You are very wise and well informed. The consultation fee I pay to my GP is less than the consultation fee of Polyclinics. So what subsidy is the pap talking about? The pap raises the consultation fee to 150% of my GP's and then give a discount to singaporeans of the inflated fee. Why does the pap have to manipulate, wayang and lie to us that it is giving us a subsidy?

You are very discerning. I hope more Singaporeans are like you.

As I mentioned in one of my posts, Prime, Cold Storage and Giant supermarkets give 3% discount to our senior citizens. NTUC Fairprice gives 2% discount to senior citizens and made so much publicity abt it.

Fairprice this month decides to give 3% to the Pioneer generation Singaporeans on Mondays and widely pucblicised it to gain political mileage for pap. It's just wayang and no sincerity to honour Pioneer Singaporeans as NTUC is just doing a catch up with the other supermarkets. I look forward to the other supermarkets slapping NTUC Fairprice by soon giving 4 to 5% discount to honour our pioneers.

Let the pap and Fairprice do catch-ups and look silly

Yes, Singapore Casket collects 7% GST for the room, coffin, refreshments, burial services, etc for the govt. So the pap gains 7% for a singaporean's coffin, wake and burial services.
