Hamas & the Hospital. Interview

Did you guys see the interview by a BBC journalist on the front steps of a hospital. In the midst of the interview you can hear rockets being fired in the immediate vicinity and the possibility within the compound of the hospital. You can see the camera moving to the launch area. You can also see the chap being interviewed whose demeanour changed to a meek, hand caught in the cookie jar look.

I guess many did not realise that these rockets are fired by Hamas are not done along the borders but are deliberately fired from schools, hospitals and built areas for the precise reason that it will be hard to eliminate them as the civilian casualties are high. Using civilians as shields.

I say the time has passed. Just bombed any place that launches a fire.

I am with the Palestinians against Israel but Hamas has no purpose to exist.

It was called the policy of intransigence. It was deliberate. Time however is not on the side of Isreal. The trend is now for people of a nation denied self-determination as result of borders created from conflict will eventually get their way. The USSR and Yugoslavia falling apart are the forunners of this trend.

The Balfour declaration deprived the Palestinians their land will eventually give way when a new leader emerges amongst the Israelis. Until then the hawks will maintain the status quo thinking that the will eventually triumph.

Hamas is a hiccup that has benefitted the Israelis rather than the Palestinians.

Don't forget West Bank and that Abbas weakling.

Basically, Gaza and Hamas are just mistakes of an overconfident Israel which it struggles to contain. Hamas has entrenched itself behind the people support.
