In a video uploaded to YouTube yesterday, a young Japanese girl gives a harrowing speech on the streets of Tsuruhashi, Osaka, in which she openly expresses her hatred of Koreans. Amid cheers of support from members of her own group, the girl goes on to state her desire to kill the “piece of crap” Koreans living in the area, threatening a repeat of the Nanking Massacre in response to the Koreans’ “arrogance”.

Believed to have been shot near to Osaka’s Tsuruhashi Station during anti-Korean protests on 24 Feb., the following video was uploaded to YouTube in the wake of similar demonstrations this past weekend. In it, the young speaker repeatedly warns Koreans to return to their own country before the anger of the Japanese becomes so great that they are killed. As well as making reference to the atrocities that occurred in 1937 when an estimated 250,000 Chinese were killed by the Imperial Japanese Army in Nanking, the girl’s cries of “go home” and “this is not your country” are met with cheers from men and women off-camera. The girl is believed to be a part of one of the nationalistic, extreme-right groups that have become especially vocal in recent months and see Koreans in Japan as harmful to the country.

Nationalistic groups are nothing new in Japan, but the level of anger and the frequency of their demonstrations in recent times have caught the attention of many, causing a great deal of unrest among both Koreans residing in the country andeveryday folk who abhor such behaviour.

This female person is perhaps unaware that many of the Koreans she was referring to have descended from (sometimes enforced) immigrants who have been in Japan who went over even before our own parents arrived here. So, can she claim they have less birthright than her.

If she is right, Malay Singaporeans can tell many of us to 'go back to our own countries' and the aboriginals can tell the Malays to go back to their own countries.... When will it stop?

I have no problem with that as long as it's in their own country.

It will stop when the natives are too poor (Americas), too drunk (Australia), too few (Taiwan, Hokkaido) or too happily bribed (Mudland, Middle east) or somewhat assimilated (Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam).

The Chinese immigrants have always had their heads lobbed off by locals during conflicts on a regular basis in South east asia region.. about every 30 years or so.
