The worse person I ever met in NS was a master sergeant in School of Armour. He was stuck at the rank because of alot of cock ups in the past. This person was a complete asshole who mentally abused all his subordinates, UNLESS you gave him something good in return. The few months under him was hell. Luckily, SAF had a change of plan. That time, they started a scheme to promote all these shit Master Sergeants to Warrant Officers. That asshole gladly took up the offer and was transfered out of SOA. I can still remember his name!

but there're some unit (Commandos / NDU) that have very short reservist cycle.
i know of a staff sergent, screwed up got demoted to 2nd sergent, hentak kaki for a couple of years, suck up to a CO and got his warrant in lightspeed.

The one who took over this asshole was an Indian and he was one of the nicest Indian I knew. Till now, if I go back for ICT and met him, we still talk. I met him at Wallaby last year.

Last time mah. 18 years old still no ATBs. That time, it was Indonesian Chinese. My first love was an Indonesian Chinese girl. Went with my mother to see me in Tekong during parent visiting day. Then 2 weeks later, fly off to Wisconsin to study without telling me :(
