Does anyone have this fantasy of having a property in every big city -- London, NY, Penang, KL? I'm just having dreams of it, unlikely to afford... Just nice to dream sometimes.

I always tell my kids to dream and dream big....don't aim at a small dot, aim big at a vast area...if you miss, you are still somewhere there, hence not so bad!!! hehehehe.....and all these coming from a father that didn't dream big! coz my time, my parents didn't pay much attention to us...coz there were busy putting food on the table!

So Bro, indirectly are you forecasting there is still room to move for properties in JB. Fr the sound of the news, something big is goona come out soon and will have impact. Is it just BI/HH area or the whole of JB?

I think that's the attitude nowadays...otherwise will be swamp with pressure and mentally will go weak and affect the body as well. Most importantly is spend time with my kids!!

I think suddenly I am feeling like I am having a mid life crisis!!! damn....so many things cross my mind in the last 2 mths before deciding on the move....been with my current employer for the past 9 years.....it was a very very difficult decision indeed!!!

does your semi D came with flooring etc ? you can still find some tenants who will bring along their furnitures , just that the rental wont be so high .
You need to have the basic renovation like wall papers or paintings done, air con installed etc .....
Go to malaysia property web and have a look at the rental yield etc ....

I thot I'll stick with current empyer for the rest of my life...never thot someone out there or up there still value this old banger! I almost left last year for a pretty good role...unfortunately it fell through in the last min. I was really sad and thot that it's gonna be difficult looking at my age to move on. Was sad and down forclose to a mth as ask HIM why? I kept the faith and continue on...and now I know why, he has better plans for me...but in his own time ...I missed one boat but a ship came along...

Anyway,to all those bros and sis here...if you fail the 1st time, dun dispair...there is a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th...and so on...preservere and hang in there...the time will come! HE will show the way.

There is still room, it has gone bigger than i ever dreamt it will be. For all actually.

Now i know why some learned friends of mine, after i shared with them, they did own research and in the end got more than me. People who are lazy only based their decisions in life on hearsay or react only after what is in the news. People who have made the effort to find out more and see for themselves have benefitted rather than those who just kept saying no and never saw for themselves.

Just like stocks, everything needs homework to be done before committing. Due dilligence is always important.

After one staff borrowed money, another one is borrowing money from us again. Barely coping but just now heard from my home boss that the staff is in serious straits so another sum gone.

It sound too familar.. We cannot give up. With our liberal work environment and our so called abnormal union, employees are not protected.. Youth is the strength.. To survive, whether one is in low ranking or in senior management, today you fire someone, the next day you will be fired.. My previous previous HR director after fire a big group of workers, she was shocked to be asked to go as well.. That is the life today.. The VP after sacking all the workers to boast his bonus, he was also asked to go next year.. That is why many years ago I attended numerous expensive courses on trading hopefully to be able to survive on trading one day.. However it is not easy to win on stock markets. too many of us have such dream.. to trade and live in malaysia.. ha.. we cannot give up.. If you fail once, or miss the boat, there might be a ship next day.. If you miss a ship, there might be a plane... Just got to keep trucking.....

I also changed job recently..got to take public transport to work as there is no parking in my area and season parking is $400 a month.. Pinos, Indians, Caucasians all are taking public transport together... In future you will find these pinos become bankers.. Our liberal employment policy is creating a skill gap among the younger generation.. Entry level jobs given to indians, pinos etc, with experience they get promoted to managers and VPs, local singaporeans will become less and less skill..
and maybe, the most secured jobs will be MHA, Army where only locals are entilted to..

Singapore pool always have good business.. because if you buy, one day you might be a millionaire..maybe we need to be millionaire not because of luxury, we need a few millions in order to survive here in years to come..
