I read with surprised that WHY SBS had to fetch the PRC Family home by taxi, after the bus captain does not allow them or refused to offer them (wheelchair) in the bus.
If you think about it, I can say the PRC family is doing the right thing. SBS is charging a serivice to bring you from Point A to Point B and it is their responsible to bring you from PT A to PtB and also the safey and comfortable rides. As SBS charges each of them about $1.80 person.
So if the passengers paid for the services and SBS has to fulfilled the contract of fetching them from Point A to point B and it is SBS responsible for the journey and safety
ALL the while Singaporeans are stupid and dare not to demand the same as what the PRC famil does.
Case 2.
If You paid your monthly subscription to M1, Singtel or Starhub and let say you have delayed some payment to them, $200++, do you think these telco has the right to terminate your line without giving you ample notice and just cut-off the line without informing you.
Since we have a contract to subscribe for the serivces, these telco must have the duty of care and fair dealing to the customers and they don;t have the right to terminate the services without GIVING any notices to the subscribers.
If the line is termianted withOUT giving any notices, the customer has the rigth to sue these telcos if there is an emergency call to the hospital (live and death case) or if there is fire in the home, with children and old folk.
ANYWAY, Pls Singaporeans learn from the PRC Family and practice your RIGHT AS A CONSUMER...
As such, we can also sue all those MPs or Minstars if they did not fullfiled their duty of care or unprofessional attitude towards the voters. Why, because they are paid a hugh sum of salary from the citizens' pocket.
