Your Mobile Phone

What does your mobile phone mean to you?
What incentive do you require to give up your mobile phone for one year? For the rest of your life?
Do you regard your mobile phone as a form of communication only? For others to communicate with you? For you to communicate with others?
Or do you use it as a computer and a dairy as well, with your life plan in it?
Or is it just a tool for your hobbies such as taking pictures, listening to music or playing games?

My mobile phone is just a basic set. No fancy gadget, just use for calling or sms. Also just my HP as a phone book, stored all my friends telephone number. I also never bother to remember anybody HP number so if HP lost or damage, mean hava a hard time getting all the contact numbers back.

Other than that, no HP is no big deal. In fact many a time i left my HP at home when i go out, more peaceful.

I have been using my nokia 6510 since 2002 ( 6.5 years ). HP very old now but I liked it.
usually turn off my HP unless I want to be contactable / make a call. I seldom return call / sms to unknown numbers / friends alike.

If everyone is like me then Singapore phone industries would collapse long ago.
