The police told TODAY on Saturday (Oct 14) that they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt at 5001 Beach Road at 3.07am on Wednesday.
The victim, believed to be a Singaporean, was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital following the attack. He is believed to be suffering from serious head and facial injuries.
TODAY understands that the suspect is still at large.
