Here's to the crazy ones

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.

They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.

While some see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Chee Soon Juan has been on the stage longer than Martin Luther King...JFK...John Lennon's most prolific years... and almost all of the rebel genius of history....yet...

WHAT THE FUCK HAS HE ACHIEVED...other than losing his credibility and losing his fortune and livelihood to the very system he rails against. ..??

And look at what happed to M.L.K. Jr., J.F.K. and J.L.? There were others even crazier than them to have them shot dead.

WHAT THE FUCK HAS HE ACHIEVED...other than losing his credibility and losing his fortune and livelihood to the very system he rails against. ..??

I don't think that his purpose is to achieve anything. If so many people as those who supported M.L.K. Jr. support him, then I think that he worries.

For better or worse, he appears to be a perennial thorn in LKY and the PAPs backside. Do you think the PAPs would be coming up with all this so called political liberalisation without Dr Chee's push? No doubt the March political tsunami across the causeway gave the PAPs much food for thought, but Dr Chee's push has also contributed as well. If not why would LKY have wasted his precious time in open court? Which btw was a huge mistake on LKY's part.

Chee is a minority alright, he thinks that there is only one magic pill: democracy and liberalisation

Fifty maybe even a hundred years from now if Singapore still exist and not as a piece of radioactive wasteland, people may still come across the name Chee Soon Juan if they are reading Singapore's history but they will never see the name Hakka Tiow.

Tao Kay, can you please differentiate between the theoretically supposed ideal vs the general reality which had commonly taken place?

Theoretically, every one should be involved, but in reality only a minority is active and the majority are Boh-Chap although they are supposed to get involved.

In practical situation, as the majority are so bloody Boh-Chap (aka apathy), changes that took place had became the end results of the works done by the active minority.

Ideally and theoretically things are not supposed to be this way, but things are much less than perfection in reality. But what can you do about it?

:(

Just look at Singapore's history, British ruled this red dot for the longest time over a century, Japanese ruled for 3 years and 8 months. Both the Brits and Japs are minority on this red dot.

PAp ruled for more than 4 decades, and they are also a minority as well. The PAp's member consist of less than 1% of Singaporean population level, they are surely not the majority here. But they took 82/84 seats of the parliament and still holding 81/84 after Ong's death.

Opposition parties are also consisting of less than 1% of Singaporean population level, definitely also a minority indeed.

The majority Singaporeans are neither PAp nor opposition, they are just peasants. Exploited peasants to be precise. :(

Minority rules the Majority in most countries. But what can you do about this?

What you said is like "It is not my job to cook at home, it is my mom's job to do that".

Then you kept complaining KPKB that home meals are not perfect, don't like to eat etc etc.

I already told you that since everyone at home are too Boh-Chap to cook, and since mom is the only one who care to cook meals for whole family, the end result is mom (who alone is a minority at home) took the whole control over the domestic cooking! The majority are too Boh-Chap to cook, and you here would not do anything about cooking at home except KPKB and blame your mom that food are not nice to eat! :D

Got it or not? :)

That's why I am asking you not to just KPKB complain and instead get hands-on and get involved in person!

That's the only way you can get yourself your own share of positive control to the matters which affects your direct interests.

Don't leave it to your mom or her maid! OK?

Your so called civil disobidience is nonsense, nothing compared to the real civil disobidience in Myanmmar or Zimbabwe.

My concern is that NO political party has done anything right for Singaporeans as a whole. I and not your mom maid stupid example. This shows how stupid you are

So long as 66.67% beri stupd,self-righteous Sinkporeans remain stupid and buy PAP propaganda, ther is nothing to gain by working to improve Sinkapore.

May be I do not love Sinkapopre as much as you folks who went self-destruction style against LKY,because I have planted my root elsewhere.

Yap Keng Ho,

Talk is cheap. Prancing around in your mandarin jacket and acting like a 'messiah revoluntionary' is cheap. Going on your so called 'fast' near the Istana is cheap.

Do you have any real concrete policy ideas that can successfully and effectively provide the majority of Singaporeans with well paid jobs over the long term and at the same time provide care and help for the minority who have difficulty fending for themselves?

No such thing a s minority or a majority . There are leaders. Real leaders inspire people and attract supporters.

someone has to fire the first shot to change things.

The Wuchang Uprising of October 10, 1911 started the Xinhai Revolution, which led to the collapse of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China (ROC).

The first shot was fired by the Wuchang revolutionaries. Within six weeks, fifteen provinces had responded and seceded from the Qing Dynasty.
