Chemist sentenced to eight months and 12 weeks in prison for secretly recording 11 intimate videos with two women

The chemist had sex with his ex-girlfriend and a female colleague, blindfolding them and secretly recording 11 indecent videos of the two without their knowledge. In addition to secretly recording, the chemist also used his mobile phone to secretly film a female classmate's skirt and was sentenced to eight months and 12 weeks in prison.
The 31-year-old defendant faced nine charges including secret filming and violating the Prevention of Harassment Act. He pleaded guilty to three of the charges at the National Court on Wednesday (February 26), and the remaining charges will be taken into consideration by the judge when sentencing.
To protect the victim, the media is not allowed to report any information that may reveal the victim's identity, including the name of the defendant.
The case file shows that the defendant is a chemist at a pharmaceutical company. From 2019 to April 2021, the defendant and one of the victims were in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.

After receiving the report, the police launched an investigation into the defendant and confiscated a mobile phone and a hard drive from the defendant on June 16, 2021.
