1. Based on the video, Xiong An seems like a lovely to place to stay in, at the present moment, but only for retirees whom would love the open spaces & clean air. However, NO well heeled retiree would want to reside there, in high rises & well known looks great BUT faulty products such as lifts, poor services, as there are FAR MORE wide open spaces & simple cottages with better environment to stay, within the many more beautiful outlaying areas of China....
2. It is only expected that the greedy morons within China would follow the sayings that 'if one build it, others will come'. They don't realize that for the massive built up of homes, such can only be SUSTAINED by the ability of manufacturing, services or govt services as such will require massive employment & thus homes, as well as more enterprising entrepreneurs & supply chains - from services to even a clothing store - to earn a sustainable living there...
3. The deeper root of the problem with such issues lay with much thanks to Devil Mao whom cruelly ruled China during the 50s. Many, so many, so many, millions of them civilized descendants of ancestors were horrifically slaughtered by his policies.
For those whom read Jung Chang's Wild Swans book would know of how terribly parents were tortured & slaughtered for simply being educated - they whom possessed training & craftsmanship amongst many more other civilizational virtues passed down for centuries - with lives ended or driven mad by torture, by the more deluded mere kids whom found hard work, attendance & attention at classes too strenuous...
An ENTIRE civilization was wiped out by Devil Mao & his fearful bootlicking minions...Even current PrezXi was not spared & had to be sent for reformation over years....
Thus, it is no surprise to the dysfunction of China, a civilization of many more centuries than the mere 5000yrs recorded. It will sadly take another few centuries for China to regain its civilization status again, as China with a population of more than 1.3billion, is NO easy task.
The 1st step towards such begins today, as it is said, the beginning of a thousand step journey begins with the 1st step....a right step & no more that of Mao's harmful harmful false pride but inferiority filled regressive policies that only saw many faithful millions of China citizens starved & died...
Rather than to export its woes, perhaps they may consider IMPORTING those Chinese whom were in the 50s Chinese diaspora, spread out Worldwide including Taiwan - whom were educated with academia & craftsmanship as well as civilizational virtues, back to China Mainland, to assist & support them to rebuild its own civilization back again, without intimidation or harm to them, but just be honest.
4. We, the rest of Humanity, only wish China well, as they too are only fellow Humans....
