我国重点部队分为很多种，按照实战需求会进行相关防弹设备的准备，而这也能够让重点部队力量得到进一步提升。经过大量采购防弹衣之后，我国的陆军基础单兵装备将会得到保障。每一位士兵的生命安全都可以因为防弹衣的存在而变的更加稳定。从目前的陆军实力对比来看，我国的特种作战部队都已经装备了防弹背心。在阅兵仪式上，我国已经亮相了大批已经装备防弹衣的陆军战士，防弹服的配备也让陆军的战斗力得到提升。随着这种力量的提升，也给中国步枪发展带来极大的革新，而这也是一个强大的信号。
由于防弹衣和先进的防弹板都会极大提升陆军的防御实力，所以为了应对这种防弹装备，各国只能去不断提升本国的突击步枪力量，所以在未来的单兵武器发展会呈现更强大的力量，可能会口径变大，膛压增加。这无疑会超过当前的普通单兵武器，所以防弹衣和单兵武器的发展是相互矛盾，但又相互协调的，在一方不断发展的过程中，另一方同样会获得进步，从而使世界单兵武器的发展达到更高的水准。
一直以来，中国的防弹衣以及其它的防弹装备都发展得很强盛，在各国都有极高的地位。由于技术实力掌控比较高级，所以在制作这类防弹装备的过程中，采用的材料以及各方面的水平都很强大，也给其他很多国家带来了威慑。正是因为有这样的表现，所以当前的美国、英国等多个发达国家都在进口中国的防弹衣，给他们的士兵带来了生命上的保证。不过，随着单兵武器的不断发展，防弹衣依旧还需要继续革新。在双方的不断较量之下，会逐渐发生淘汰现象。所以，防弹衣也是一种短暂使用的装备，也许过一段时间就没有办法再发挥作用。
