CCP may change certain history to look good but there a limit they can change. The Great Leap Forward or the cultural revolution are being taught in Chinese high school textbooks. Of course exam mainly on 改革開放。as for collapse of eastern bloc, CCP textbooks use it to prove that chinese communism is the best.
