His contributions as ncmp is basically non existent. No lost to the oppies cause

The whole Party can go into non exIstent, we will only miss their wayang show.

the AJ team remains unchanged ? no one leaving AJ to contest and lead others in another possible to win GRC ?

His foresight is telling him. Beginning to see the light now.

And why WP is not leading the allowance cut this period ??
WP is there for the $$ as well. There is no MPS for now.

What a quitter. How to rely on oppies like that?

He quit due to medical condition and save from having bi-election to be called if he won and later step down at East Coast GRC. Unlike Charles Chong, who withheld his unhealthy lifestyle, from public scrutiny and put every voters in disadvantage situation.

Workers' Party NCMP Daniel Goh will not be contesting in upcoming General Election due to health reasons - The Online Citizen
Workers’ Party Non-Constituency MP - Assoc Prof Daniel Goh Pei Siong

Workers’ Party Non-Constituency MP - Assoc Prof Daniel Goh Pei Siong
Associate Professor Daniel Goh Pei Siong, Workers’ Party (WP)’s Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) will not be contesting in the upcoming Singapore General Election due to health reasons.
According to WP’s press statement, Assoc Prof Goh, 47, shared with the party some months ago that his health had been falling and since then, he has been under medication for a health condition
He has stepped down from his current appointments in the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) to focus on his rehabilitation, but remains as an ordinary member of the CEC.
Assoc Prof Goh has also stepped down as a town councillor of the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council some months back. All his said responsibilities have been assigned to other individuals, shared the party.
He will continue to fulfil his duties as a NCMP in this term of Parliament.
According to his request, he will not participate in the upcoming General Elections.
Assoc Prof Goh, a sociology professor at the National University of Singapore, contested for the first time at the General Election in the East Coast GRC. His team consisted of Mr Leon Perera, Mr Gerald Giam and Mr Mohamed Fairoz Shariff and won 39.27 per cent of the votes casted.
He was officially declared the candidate elected as the 3rd Non-constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) by the Returning Officer from the Elections Department (ELD) on 4 February 2016. Dr Goh had been nominated by his party, Workers’ Party (WP) to take over the NCMP seat after Ms Lee Li Lian declined to take up the position.
The then-NCMP scheme guarantees up to nine opposition candidates to enter the parliament as NCMPs. As the General Election 2015 had six opposition Members of Parliament (MPs), the top three losers in the election were given to take up seats in the parliament as NCMPs. The scheme has been updated to guarantee up to twelve candidates after the last GE.

All the best to you Daniel!

Daniel rather keep his job than to join those losers. LTK is obviously fading.
