Work with agencies such as National Parks Board and use infrastructure in the neighbourhood more effectively so as to cut down on duplication of work and wastage of resources.
Use renewable energy sources and analyse using alternative forms of energy and channel savings back to other uses in the town council.
Focus on community building and develop a social conscience by working closely with charities and volunteer welfare organisations that look after the elderly and needy.
Identify areas where demand for childcare centres is high, and make a request to HDB to tie up with operators.
Review and upgrade playgrounds to ensure the safety of children, and have more community garden projects.

Bursaries for needy students in Aljunied, similar to the self-funded Hougang Constituency Education Trust that has been helping Hougang residents for close to 20 years.
