WP is not going to win this BE even if it is a one-to-one fight.
WP has lost the conditional support of the minority Malay and Indian communities whose votes were crucial in allowing it to secure Aljunied GRC.
If the internal polling which had been carried out had reflected that the WP would win in a one-to-one fight, the Dauphin would not be calling for a BE. PE will remain with the PAP.
No amount of "shiok sendiri" posturing, delusional hallucination or frothing at the mouths will change the fact that the PAP still has substantial support amongst Singaporeans or that the WP has lost support amongst the Malay and Indian minority communities and hence, PE will remain with the PAP.
