I was in Sentosa this week and overheard a group of Chinese girls at the next table talking about their parents. One said her parents are a doctor and a lawyer, "typical Asian families", then another girl said her dad is a Data Scientist in DBS. Immediately, the other girl turned to her and asked "your Dad is an Indian?!" rather innocently. I think she genuinely thought so but I had a good laugh at it.
