在第十二届中国国际航空航天博览会上，由中国航天三江集团有限公司研制的LW-30型激光防御武器系统（LW-30 Laser Weapon System）首次公开亮相。

LW-30型激光防御武器系统由雷达指挥通信车、激光战车和保障设备组成，是近程精确拦截武器，具有高能聚焦发射、打击精度高、附带损失低、使用成本低、模块化、易维护等特点。
LW-30型激光战车利用定向发射高能激光，不仅能执行防空任务，快速拦截无人机、空地导弹、制导炸弹等多类目标，也可以担负C-RAM作战任务，保证地面作战部队有效防御火箭弹、炮弹、迫击炮等间瞄火力的威胁，还可以用于对付地面目标的各种光电设备。此外，兼具有远距离探测功能。
