Worker chased by thief falls from first floor
KUCHING: A 39-year-old construction worker sustained head injuries and a broken arm after falling from the first floor of an unfinished building. He slipped and fell while chasing by a 29-year-old man, who was suspected of stealing metal for scraps at the construction site at about 11.15pm on Monday. An eyewitness said the worker had tried to stop the suspect but was instead chased with a stick. Police arrived minutes later and caught the suspect. The victim was hospitalised.
