A STOMPer was disgusted to find clumps of balled-up, used tissue stuffed into the armrest of the cab she was in. After chatting with the cabby, she felt there was no way the littering would ever stop despite the prevailing bans. She says:
"Disgusting. Why do people treat cabs this way?
"The cabby told me sometimes he would even find flattened plastic waterbottles hidden in the crevices between the seats, because passengers don't want him to know they are littering.
"I don't understand their behaviour.
"But that's why there's no way the 'No eating and drinking' ban on public transport will ever work.
"People just can't be bothered to take care of our public transport."
