Woman who splashes vomit on staircase caught red-handed
STOMPer Swat and his wife caught this woman behaving suspiciously with a plastic bag of liquid that was apparently vomit. The staircase near the STOMPer's unit at Punggol had been splashed with 'milk or vomit' on two previous occasions.
In the STOMPer's email:
"I've raised this deliberate case of littering to NEA and the Pasir Ris Punggol town council.
"They replied that they would send out leaflets to educate the residents and even stake out the area to catch offenders. I have yet to see an officer in the area and this is already the third incident within a few months.
"My wife and I caught the culprit red-handed yesterday (Dec 13) evening.
"When we went out to buy dinner, the staircase was still clean.
"We noticed a plastic bottle on the staircase on our way back. We took a closer look and was shocked to see a woman standing in between the 15th and 16th storeys.
"She was holding a plastic bag with some stuff like milk or vomit inside.
"We confronted her and asked her why she littered the same area on two previous occasions.
"She denied and claimed that she was just visiting someone on the 14th floor and that she had vomited only in the plastic bag.
"We've never seen her before and when we checked with our neighbour on the 14th floor, they said that they didn't have a visitor.
"I hope NEA or the town council can look into this matter, as the repeated littering here has left a stain the the recently painted wall.
"We are really disappointed with the authorities as it seems that they can't do anything to prevent such incidents from occurring."
