Woman robbed at Admiralty <!--10 min-->
A 22-YEAR-OLD woman foreign worker was assaulted and robbed on Sunday at Admiralty Street. The robbery happened at the void deck of Block 10 Admiralty Street at around 4.40am. The victim, who was waiting for a friend at the void deck, was hit twice on the head with a 40-cm wooden pole before the assailant tried to grab handbag that was slung over her shoulder. The woman fell to the ground after struggling with the man and was then hit again on the neck and back with the pole. The assailant took a mobile phone worth $500, $44 in cash, an MP4 player worth $170 and some personal items before fleeing. The man was believed to be of fair complexion and was wearing shorts and slippers. He was bare-chested at the time of the attack.
