Samantha Brooks being led to court

A scheming woman posed as a man to trick another woman into bed - and kept up the pretence for eight years, a Glasgow court heard Friday.

Samantha Brooks, 26, pretended to be Lee Brooks to con her victim before fooling another woman with the same story, The Sun of UK reported.

Brooks told the women they could not handle her 'penis' because she had suffered testicular cancer, it was claimed. She put a condom on an object she said was her manhood and used it to obtain sexual intimacy, it was said.

Brooks hid her breasts with bandages and clingfilm, telling one woman she needed to wear them after suffering burns, the court heard. She told the other she had been stabbed in the torso, it was claimed. While bathing she hid her body from the women with bubblebath.

She refused to take off her upper clothes to keep her breasts hidden - and urinated while standing, it was said. Brooks proposed to one woman, providing correspondence in the name Lee James Brooks.

She also allegedly assaulted both women, which she denies. Brooks denied obtaining sexual contact by fraud at Glasgow High Court. The alleged offences took place against one woman between 2001 and 2009, and the other from February to September last year.

They happened in London and Perthshire, it was claimed. The case will be heard in Edinburgh next month.
