Woman killed in traffic accident in Yishun

SINGAPORE: A woman in her 60s was killed after she was knocked down by a truck along Yishun Ave 11 near Block 417.
Police said they received a call about the accident at 8.25am.
The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after 9am.
The truck driver, a man in his 40s, has been arrested by the police and is assisting in investigations.
Police are appealing for eyewitnesses to the accident.
