SHE went to a police station in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, to file a report that a friend had tried to rape her at knife-point.

The 32-year-old salesgirl has now alleged that the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) who is investigating the case sent her lewd SMSes.

She has also alleged that the police official asked her for sex in his messages, The Star reported.

The woman claimed that when she did not respond to his messages, he threatened to take action against her for lodging a false report against her childhood friend.

The woman said her ordeal began when she went to the district police station to lodge a report against the friend who had tried to rape her at her home on Sept 2.

“Three days later, the DSP asked me out for dinner,” she said. “Within hours, he sent me text messages, claiming that he was lonely and that he liked me,” she said.

“It reached a stage where he began to send me vulgar texts, saying he wanted to sleep with me,” she added.

The salesgirl then lodged a report against the DSP in Ipoh on Nov 26.

She claimed that she decided to go public because the DSP’s text messages to her were no longer there when police gave her phone back to her.

She said: “I’m afraid the remaining evidence in my phone will also disappear if I were to hand it over to the police again for investigations.”
