Woman and hubby virtually agree to a divorce

A WOMAN and her miserly husband decided to divorce via SMS recently, reported Berita Harian.
Anida Mohd Shah, 43, had asked for a separation because she was fed up with her husband’s irresponsible and stingy ways.
She claimed that he had never been fair in polygamy and was calculative when it came to buying household groceries.
In proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court, plaintiff Anida said she was not even given “a grain of rice”.
She added that she had sent an SMS to the defendant asking for a divorce and he replied saying: “If that is what you want, I will fulfil your wish. I release you with talak satu.”
The husband Shamsudin Mohd Nor, 55, admitted that he was fully sane and not under duress when making the decision. The court will make its decision today.
