Woman among three held with drugs and gun

KULIM: Police detained three people, including a woman, and seized an assortment of drugs and a pistol in a raid on a house in Taman Bidara here. Kedah deputy police chief Datuk Mohd Asri Yusuf said the raid led to the seizure of Eramin 5 pills, ketamine and syabu worth RM5,620 on Friday.
“A check on a Wira Aeroback parked outside the gate led to seizure of a Smith & Wesson pistol with six bullets inside and 25 bullets hidden in safety boots,” he told a press conference here yesterday.
Asri said a 28-year-old man was believed to be the mastermind. The other male suspect, 26, did not have a criminal record while the 22-year-old woman, a mother of two, had a record. The three suspects tested positive for drugs. — Bernama
