"Ah Gua" is a degratory term that refers to men (most of whom are straight) who likes to dress us as women for sexual gratification. The correct work is transvestite.

"Female impersonators" are men who dress up as girls to entertain or as a living.

"Transsexuals" are people who are borned into the wrong gender. For example male-to-female transsexuals (like Leona Lo in this thread) would never fall for gay men (and gay men will not fall for them either). Transsexuals may dress up in the opposite gender prior to surgery. If they are "transitioning", it means that they have embarked on the (longish) process of becoming the opposite gender.

"Gays" and "homosexuals" are men who love other men (or women who love other women). They will never change their gender!

"Ugly, ignorant and unfeeling Sinkies" are Singaporeans (like many in this thread) who think it is OK or even cool to make fun of and discriminate people on their basis of their looks or what they seek in love.
