when they are confirmed "dead" the world moves on. when they are "missing" in deep water, the world moves on knowing they will be dead anyway. when they are missing or trapped alive in a cave, there's still hope to find them and get them out alive. if these boys were found dead in the cave or never found at all, the world would have moved on thinking they were long gone.

These are poor village kids from what I have read, they play outdoors (which is about the only entertainment they have) and lead simple lives. The coach also came from a very humble background and really love the boys. He's like their big brother. Glad they all survived this ordeal.
