1 mil. yen mulled for firms regularizing temporary staff
A ruling parties project team decided Wednesday to introduce a system by which the government would provide financial assistance for firms hiring temporary workers as regular employees as part of additional employment measures.
Under the new system, the government will provide 1 million yen to small and midsize firms and 500,000 yen to large companies for each temporary worker taken on as a regular employee.
