For Singapore to become a top semicon producer, I think it'll be just a dream. Look at how pathetic Creative is today? Look at how Seagate, Western Digital and the likes have all gradually moved out of Singapore? Although Micron and Infineon have plants here but these are just their bread and butter production plants, nothing spectacular.
