Every other country in the world, people speak the language of the majority population.
Like for example in UK, majority spoke English because majority are Anglo-Saxon whites folks.
Or in France, majority spoke French because they are the majority..etc..
Or in India, majority spoke either Tamil or Hindu.
Or in Japan, majority spoke Japanese...
People are really proud of their heritage...
Even in Malaysia, every Chinese are required to learn and speak Malay really well, because majority of the population are Malays.
But while in Singapore, everybody must speak English even though majority of the population are Chinese??
English is not even a Chinese heritage, neither it is Malay or Indian heritage....
instead of learning English, why Malay or Indians Singaporeans don't learn Chinese? Doesn't that unite people more if Malays or Indians can speak Chinese and Chinese can speak Malay or Indians languages rather than English?
Do you have ancestors or relative who has Anglo Saxon Angmos blood?
Why must we die die must insist that we speak the language of the minority? i.e. the Caucasians? We are not even related to them!
Are we crazy or what? Think about it! Think about it!
