Shopee made a BIG name in the beginning with so much discount and cash back advertisements. It did NOT
sustain its business with such advertisements. But main problem was most of the suppliers are CCP (only China products) and CCP wanted to sell all the low-quality products that did not pass QC. Their head Forest Li is a CCP himself but now naturalized.
Most of the products did not work and the Customer Service is poor to get the replacement for the faulty or broken products. For example, if you need to replace a faulty product, they may ask you to return the product to China (the seller) and the cost of postage needed a tracking number to get a full refund. Unfortunately, the postage from SG to CN is more expensive than the actual cost of the product. Most of the Singaporeans do not return the products and do not claim the refund also.
Shopee did not pay attention to the Customer Service as it employed CECA or m&ds who are not soft-spoken. They do not have any skills to manage the expectations of the customers as they simply hang up on the customers. Over the period, those who gives importance to Quality stop buying from Shopee.
Shopee was selling the same products that other competitors are selling in SG.
They are relatively cheaper than Shopee

Shopee in SG wanted to grow globally. But India obstructed its growth. CECA is always against growing business of a CCP. Even though PAP gave so much freedom for CECA in SG, they may work against Singaporean Chinese who are majority in SG. CECA always play behind the scenes to control the growth on the internet.
Amazon -a MONOPOLY in Ecommerce that suppressed all ecommerce platforms globally
CECA stopped Shopee but gave green signal to Amazon in India Beware. Amazon is the third-largest company based on market capitalization. It's a relatively new company compared to other big companies like Apple and Microsoft. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest person by a wide margin. For many people, Amazon is synonymous with e-commerce. The mere announcement that Amazon would enter a new product line creates ripples among incumbents and causes steep falls in their stock prices. Amazon crushed all other competitors because of the Cloud business that sells the data behind. Even though Shopee also sells the customer data, its volume is not huge as Apple or Android got all the transaction information that Shopee got. So, apple and Android sell such financial data to the ONE WORLD DATABAASE that Rothschild builds. Take note, Alibaba knew this strategy and he went to focus on cloud business. Cloud business makes money because they can sell the data unofficially.t?
Shopee PPLICATION Quality is extremely poor
Forest Li himself was an online gamer who spent lot of time play games online. So, he is so stupid to spend games in the Shopee plat form. CECA to be blamed for. Also, Shopee apps is NOT developed with proper IT Security and IT standards, it consumed battery life extensively. Apps crashes several times, and the technical errors were NOT addressed by the IT staff who are so lethargic.
Amazon's Good customer service by whites and wide seller market from USA to CN, Global customer base and tricking customers with cloud business what make Amazon so successful in the fiercely competitive retail and e-commerce market. Shopee cannot compete with Amazon or other competitors in SG.
Amazon would tell they are selling data analytics for advertisements in my opinion Amazon's dominance is because it is selling its customer private data and transaction data to the Rothschild's World Database for a huge ROI. That is
unethical and
FRAUDULENT.
