I'm going to sound like a PAP supporter, but I'm perturbed that SDA keeps sending duds into the fray.

The Malay chap who appeared during the CNA forum didn't impress me. Now there is another chap by the name of Tony Tan who will be fielded in Pasir Ris Punggol GRC. The guy has a business degree, but he doesn't speak like one.

I don't want SDA to contest in Pasir Ris Punggol. Sure lose one ! I want WP or SDP or RP.

Seriously I can not understand 1 single sentence what the malay chap said in the forum

Me too !

Why have so many parties ?

I tell you SDA has no chance. SDA candidates have no personality. Now that Chiam See Tong has left, SDA should just de-register and open up more GRCs and SMCs for other capable opposition candidates to contest.

I cringe each time that malay guy spoke. But that Dr. Vincent and Gerard of SDP and WP impressed me with their eloquence. Lina really bomb out full time especially when Melissa Hyak question her about her party proposal on the foreign labor issue. She was literally caught napping. Now all those PP supporters of Chiam will probably felt he have abandoned them and left some one like Lina as a sacrificial lamb. They might just throw their votes for those pappies.

It was painful to watch when the malay guy and aunty Lina spoke.

Vincent was eloquent. But he really showed himself up when he could not tell the difference between "median" and "mean".

To recap, Tharman said that median incomes of Singaporeans were going up. Vincent jumped in and said it wasn't true, that median incomes were not indicative considering the high ministerial salaries. He should have realised that high salaries of the outliers could affect the "mean" but not the "median" income number.

Till now I wonder if he was ignorant or just wanted to throw in the plug about minister's salaries.

The threadstarting question why SDA keep sending duds is funny. Who else are in in SDA other than duds?

You mean bros from SBF? Whoever selected by the bros here, sure to hit past the 40% mark. One or two may even win!

People should politely ask Desmond Lim not to stand in Punggol East. He will merely serve to divert votes away from the WP.

To me... I press the FF button when this guy speak...my son can speak better than him:D

I suggest he attend English speech lesson before becoming an opposition member. Better still, SURIA malay channel organise similar forum and invite him instead of letting him attend CNA English political forum. I am sure he speaks well in Malay and can deliver better in Suria and try to win the malay votes.

I don't know how they go about 'choping' constituencies. How did Pasir Ris-Punggol end up with SDA ? And since SDA did badly the last time, why let SDA stand in PR-P GRC again ?

Maybe he is too nervous?
But he did raised some valid points here and there.

That's the silly notion that weak losers come up with, they contested last time so they have first option to contest again this time, without reference to their weak results last time.
