1. They are running short of cash.
2. They are trying to deflect criticism on DBAss's mis-selling of Minibombs.
3. They are trying to sell "structured products" to the oldies again.
4. This is a prelude to some sort of fee hike.

SINGAPORE: Singapore's POSB has launched a comprehensive package to recognise and reward customers for their seniority.

From Oct 28, and every Tuesday thereafter, a dedicated counter will be set up at all POSB branches to extend special privileges to customers aged 50 and above during the first three hours of branch opening.

The special treatment will include snacks and drinks, and accounts tailored for the elderly.

POSB said the "50+ Tuesdays" initiative is part of the bank's effort to enhance overall customer experience.

Mr Davy Wee, managing director of POSB, said: "We appreciate the support of many generations of Singaporeans who have been with POSB through the years."

In the first place, it was that motherf88king Pinky Swaying Willow's feeble ideas to merge banks together. It is definitely a F88KING mistake to merge POSB with DBAss, POSB does not need DBAss in the first place.

F88king Pinky Swaying Willow tried to teach Wee Cho Yaw (he is no saint anyway, a lackey of LKY) how to run his bank, Wee Cho Yaw f88ks Pinky through and through, lan lan LHL wags his tail and glide off.....

old ppl now all say the same thing, savings put inside the tin can, although no interest bearing, but u can sleep in peace knowing it wont grow legs n run.

now, to put your savings in the hands of idiots that don't take responsibility for squanderring it, i think many have learnt a valuable lesson already.
