KUALA LUMPUR: Former US president Bill Clinton’s address at the inaugural BC Sekhar Memorial Lecture, scheduled for Saturday, has been brought forward to Friday at 6pm due to a change in his schedule.
“There was an unforeseen change in the former president’s schedule which has resulted in the need to move the lecture date forward.
“We regret the inconveniences caused to our guests. It was unavoidable,” Petra Group spokesman Andrew Murray-Watson said in a statement here Wednesday.
The lecture, organised by the Sekhar Foundation, will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and telecast live by ASTRO Awani.
Murray-Watson said more than 3,000 guests, who were picked out of 12,000 applicants through a public ballot, would attend the lecture.
This is Clinton’s first trip to Malaysia. He will also receive the BC Sekhar Medal for Transformational Leadership, a new award given to individuals who have demonstrated a lifetime of commitment to bringing about positive practical change in the world. -- Bernama

That's a good question. Seems like MM Lee don't think about saving money, just anyhow go, didn't his secretary know there is going to be one in KL :(

HK is doing better than SG, he was there to copy and use their system here. No GST, got freedom of speech, place more lively and financial centre way bigger than SG. Really put shame to his ministers collecting million paycheck.
