PRC Clearly showed why LEEs have to be Life Sentenced for HPL Corruption Scandal
PRC's court today sentenced an ex-commissary-bureau chief of ZheJiang province to 10 years of imprisonment charged with CORRUPTIONS for accepting bribe in the form of DISCOUNT IN PROPERTY PURCHASE. Corruptions charge involved not just 1 but 2 properties and total amount of discount is roughly only S$50K.
The judgement clearly said that These Briberies & Corruptions Took The Form of A BARGAIN.

据承办此案的兰溪市检察院公诉科科长吴小芳介绍,今年62岁的徐有芝,1993年5月开始担任兰溪市粮食局局长,1996年 5月兼任兰溪市粮食局下属企业国泰大酒店法人代表,2002年3月担任兰溪市粮食局调研员,2007年12月退休。去年5月13日,兰溪市检察院从群众举 报的线索中深挖发现徐有芝涉嫌受贿的嫌疑,依法以涉嫌受贿罪对他立案侦查。
在法院审理时,徐有芝虽对检察机关指控的事实没有异议,但认为自己以明显低于市场价格买房是正常的投资行为,甚至对收受旅游费等收钱方式也认为“很正常”,不构成受贿犯罪。
兰溪市法院经审理查明,1996年9月,徐有芝利用担任兰溪市粮食局局长的职务便利,在下属单位土建工程承包商处以6万元价格购买 价值9.18万元的一套住宅。1999年10月,身为局长的徐有芝又以明显低于市场的价格向下属粮管所以25万元的价格购得一处价值41万余元的营业房, 以“协议”方式非法收受165372元的国有资产,且在购买该房付款中收受他人以转账支票形式贿赂6万元。法院均认定为典型的“交易型”受贿。
此外,法院还查明,2001年,徐有芝接受下属单位在建工程承包商安排的旅游费为3000余元的韩国旅游和收受1000美 元;1995年至2007年间,徐有芝以逢年过节和家中红白喜事等为由,收受多名请托人所送人民币7万元,也都被认定为受贿。对徐有芝逢年过节收受的礼金 礼卡8000元,法院认为是非法所得依法给予没收。据此,法院作出上述一审判决。一审判决后,徐有芝没有上诉,22日判决生效。

THE SENIOR MINISTER BOUGHT HIS UNIT AT 1,583 DOLLARS PER SQUARE FOOT WHILE GENERAL LEE WOULD HAVE PAID 1,658 DOLLARS PER SQUARE FOOT FOR HIS. BUT AS OTHER BUYERS WERE INTERESTED IN GENERAL LEE'S UNIT HPL ASKED HIM TO CONSIDER ANOTHER LARGER APARTMENT AT A HIGHER PRICE. These properties are around 10X higher in value than the above PRC cases which the corrupt culprit had been sentenced to 10 years. For official position as SM & DMP to have practiced just the same foul filth, their sentences must be at least life. And that is just only for this HPL count alone. Make no mistake about it.
