Why does SDP appear to be silent with regards to Gopalan Nair's release from QRP?

It has been afew days since GN's release from QRP but I note with curiosity that SDP have yet to make any comments on the same. Yap Keng Ho and ST/Today have made reports/comments but SDP has been silent all this while. Why?

Like they did to Ravi. The attempt to drop even made them go to the extend of praising the "police" by telling people not to cast aspersions on them for Ravi case. Rarely for a party who gets screwed by police long before and until now.
