Have you ever asked yourself or asked others this question:
"Why do they do it?" or simply "Why"?
I have an answer for you.
It's simply because "They can."
I was asking this question again regarding the ironman race whereby bicycle tires were punctured as a result of thumb tacks strewn on the road. But as we very well know, this question can be asked for practically anything that happens in life or anything that people do.
Were the people who did that just being mischievous? Or did they have a more sinister motive? We don't know, but you can bet that they did it because they could.
Just like those big timers like Bernie Madoff who defrauded many people of billions. Or those corporate executives who took huge amounts in bonuses even after taking government bailout money.
Why did they do it? Because they can.
Perhaps it's time to tell them that they can't.
