For national security reasons , you cannot rely on wind or solar power even if they can provide 100 percent of your needs cost effectively as one day , there may be a major nuclear war or even volcano eruption that will blanket the sky with dusts for years. No more solar and no more wind power so fall back on coal.

we should go nuclear
and also build up enough enrich uranium to nuke KL

let's see...
nuclear energy is clean, efficient, powerful.

any bugger that threatens to take over Singapore, we counter by nuking the whole island, can all die together, thus getting rid of National Service.

home defence is cut to bare minimal, with elite strike team watching over the nuclear facilities and other strategic locations.

more effort can be put into greener energy sources, can produce more electrical cars, save the environment by producing less carbon footprint, no need to rely on oil and prices of electricity can be stable and not fluctuating.

even our neighbors can benefit when we sell them cheap electricity from our nuclear power plants.

going nuclear can be a good idea after all...

Where is the best location to built nuclear reactor in Singapore. For next 30 year gov will never propose/built nuclear reactor in Singapore.
Thailand and Veitnam maybe building reactor in next 20 years.
