Typical asian faces can't sell a product compare to a Ang Moh one.

It could be an inherited mentality from past generations and the racial diversity on this island. In a way, Ang Moh face is race neutral on most ads and has that perceived prestige; also it depends on the product being promoted.

Imagine if you have a Carlsberg commercial with a Chinese or a Keleng. What is the first instance that strikes your mind. Same goes for a malay.

Carlsberg has a TV ad featuring mediacorp "STARS". The health Ambassador is ok but the Love Ambassador is kinda old

If what you say is true than this is the sad reflection of a colonised mind which really should not be the case in this day and age of globalisation and the fact that we have been independent for over 40 years now.

That is why I am impressed with our Asean neighbours who rarely use pure ang moh models in their local ads.
