Men prefer blondes for girlfriends... but would rather marry a brunette

Most men think blondes make the best girlfriends - but would rather marry a brunette, according to a new survey.

For slightly more than half of the men quizzed, dates with blonde women have outnumbered dates with brunettes, with 19 per cent saying this was because the blondes were sexier.

Meanwhile just under half said blondes make the best girlfriends because they have more outgoing personalities.
