Who Would the Most Highly Paid President Ask to Form the Government

It's 8 May, and the political landscape in Singapore has changed completely. The PAP still has the most seats, but the following have lost their seats - LHL, GCT, WKS, LTY and Yakult. LKY has been returned on nomination day.

Who do you think the President will ask to form the next government?

Dear Ah Beng,

This is truly a stoopid question.... clearly the President will decide on the basis of a popular vote... Of course there is a very strong possibility that "i am not ready to form govt" WP might just as well form the govt. Does that mean Charlatan Low will step aside based on his own admission that his party is not ready tof form govt and hand the reins over to the PAP?

Ah Beng is as dishonest as he is stoopid.

Mr Wong Yan,

I know he would ask the leader of the party who has won the most seats, but in the scenario I painted, the leader of that party has lost his seat, as have one of his deputies. So who would the president have confidence in forming the next government? Rear Admirer Teo or Grate Leeder?

It does not matter. The party with the most seats will defer the decision to its party leaders. You are also stoopid in asking this question, as in Singapore where there is no freedom of the press and where the supposedly independent election committee reports to the PM, just how likely is it that LHL will lose in AMK when rigging votes is as easy as ABC?

I know Ah Beng is a complete nutcase and deserves to be replaced by FTs, but has he at least bothered to read the amendments to the gazette as far as election laws go?
