Those registrations you are seeing are done by scripts generated by spammers.

The job of these scripts is to scour the internet for forums and automatically register multiple accounts for the purpose of spamming adverts for penis enlargement, viagra, cialis etc.

All new registrations are checked so most of these spam bots never get to post any messages.

Once in a while, a few may get through but their posts won't last more than a few hours before my own bot deletes them.
