24 June, Namchi: Taking an advantage of innocent people of Sikkim, the local agents are continuously thriving within the remotest corner of Sikkim to grab the prey and throw them into an unseen unknown world outside. In context government do not stop showing flying colour dreams to youths about high salaried job opportunities in outside countries just because for a job anyone can do any thing!
In the month of March one case of mysterious murder of Sikkim girl was reported in Kolkata where there was ‘ZERO’ help from the state government for pacifying expectation of parents. That case seems decaying and the murderer is all way clean & clear, is this people expect from government?
The children of politicians , bureaucrats, businessmen of Sikkim are safe since they have a build their empire where ever they step outside but the fact is poor are left dying for a penny and they are made ‘Plug & Play’ object simply.
A poor girl Hemlata Chettri is now the next victim, the girl who hailed from poor family in West Sikkim was made bait by the local women agent from Sombari , Ran Maya Subba and another women Ramala Tamang hailing from Ghoom, in Darjeeling ,a wife of Subash Tamang.
Ramala Tamang , a women who is an experienced agent as told to media is into the business since many years for ferrying locals to Singapore and other countries showing a big bright future in overseas job opportunities. These two agents used to supply local innocent youths to one of the company Charisa Agencies, a company is run by Sunita Kaur (Phone No: 65629 84965). The owner of the company had recruited the said victim Hemlata Chettri to house of Arrya Vishal for domestic helper.
A 32-year-old woman from Sikkim was found dead in the basement of a building in Singapore where she had been working as a domestic help. Hemlata Chettri’s parents alleged that she had been murdered by her employers who used to torture her. The body was found on the morning of June 22 at 22 Melville Park, Simei Street, according to a document from the High Commission of India, Singapore.
Rightly said “All is not well in Sikkim”, since past few months illicit anti-social activities are thriving inside Sikkim sometime Child Abuse, Daily Drugs Trafficking Reports ,Sexual Harrasment, Corruption, Women Extortions etc. What exactly is going on and what shall be the fate of poor families of Sikkim if situation continues to bubble like this? The answer is simply and already declared by the governemnt “Total eradication of BPL’s from Sikkim by 2015 “!!, which indeed reflects correct from the incidents those are taking place.
