The Star/Asia News Network
THE year ahead does not look too good for Malaysia, according to a geomancer quoted in China Press.
Geocosmic Centre for Yi Jing Metascience Research Malaysia adviser Dr Chuah Chong Cheng predicted that the country would witness the death of a prominent politician and face an issue concerning the sale of water to Singapore next year.
Dr Chuah, who is an expert in I-Ching (the Book of Change), was reported as forseeing the politician dying of a heart attack in May or June.
Malaysians, he said, had endured a 'very difficult year this year' and although next year would also be tough, the situation was expected to improve.
Dr Chuah also predicted that it would be better for Barisan Nasional if elections were pushed to a later date.
'The best for Barisan is if elections are set for 2012,' he said.
